Someone’s done a Google autocomplete version of The Killers’ ‘Mr Brightside’ and it’s quite rude
Cause I’m having a good time
We’re going to hazard a guess here, but chances are you’ve heard The Killers’ ‘Mr Brightside’ more than any other song in the last decade. Weddings, birthday parties, dodgy nights out, great nights out – the Las Vegas group’s signature tune is always lurking somewhere in the playlist. Hell, you lot voted it as the second best indie anthem of all time.
As a result, the lyrics are probably seared into your memory whether you like it or not. But that might be all change, if this alternative version is to go by is anything to go by.
Using Google’s often-handy autocomplete function, Twitter user @DOGGEAUX entered each line into the search function and took the autocompleted version the rest of the lyric. Here, revel in its absolute randomness.

As you can see, firstly, it doesn’t quite have the punchiness of Flowers’ original lines but the final line is actually so much nicer than the original might just end up slipping out of your mouth next time you’re belting it at the indie disco.
